2022-01-03: Message from Raktima on the Systematic Literature Review.
i) I will submit the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) report/article by 15th of this month. After an internal review and restructuring of the write-up, I am presently standing on the verge of wrapping it up. ii) We are planning to share with you a detailed and more specific research design, a future roadmap for our research. Me and Jenia di will be working on it once the SLR gets a final shape. iii) Linking literatures to DFM Zotero library is another task which comes next. Eric has patiently helped me to get this process over. Since some of the literatures of SLR will be overlapping with those of the preliminary Scoping Report, I thought of doing it after the SLR write-up is finalized. I hope that will be fine. iv) Last, but not the least, our CLOC project plans are getting space for implementations through a workshop with the active roles of our NGO partner and 'our mentors from the field' (fishermen and women) from Sundarbans. An initial stakeholder mapping has been done and contacts are being created to invite Government officials. However, an uncertainty is looming large due to the drastic hike in Covid cases and attendant lockdown in Bengal. Hence, we are yet to fix a suitable date and the way of conducting the workshop.

I have gone through the current Google docs version of the Scoping Report. It’s an excellent synthesis reference document. I made some minor edits, but will leave a more thorough language edit to our internal DFM process. I added three minor comments. As soon as you can address these final comments, we can move forward with the final language edit and formatting of the report.
I do think it would be useful to have the glossary for this report as well as the market study report so I would request that you provide the glossary for this report. There is no big rush on that. We can integrate the glossary after the final DFM edit is finished, which I don’t expect will be completed until early January.

Only a couple of points require follow-up from you: I ask for supporting evidence in a few places, and have a question about fish meal on page 10. Otherwise, I have made a few minor edits, mostly moving from Indian to International English, and pointed out things that particularly struck me, including a few promising points to purse for further analysis, research, and writing. Please take a few minutes to check through my points and, if possible, add the small amount of supporting evidence that I request. Once you send us the final version of the report, we will prepare it for publication and then post it on the DFM website for public consumption.
