Data management policy

We are required to comply with the SSHRC Data Archiving Policy, which stipulates that “research data collected with public funds belong in the public domain”.

The University of Manitoba Data Management Plan template can be updated through the Portage Network.

Dataverse

We will be using “Dataverse” as repository to store and share data. The Dataverse repository run by the University of Manitoba provides an ERB and security policy-compliant platform for data sharing and archival. The research head of each DFM team may be given access to upload data directly on Dataverse.

Once a dataset has been published, we will have a DOI available. This should be added to Zotero.
