Shakuntala Haraksingh Thilsted has focused on local, culturally food appropriate system solutions that strengthen the ways communities produce, supply, cook, and eat diverse and nutritious foods.
The Dried Fish Matters project owes a deep debt to World Food Prize 2021 Laureate and DFM Collaborator Shakuntala H. Thilsted, whose pioneering work on dried fish and food & nutrition security has inspired our work in South and South-East Asia.
