We are pleased to highlight the participation of graduate students in the DFM project. Students are divided into groups by when they started.
First group of students
- Sisir Pradhan (PhD student, University of Waterloo) is working to link Social-Ecological Systems and value chain approaches in the study of dried fish.
- Madu Galappaththi (PhD student, University of Waterloo) did a study on themes related to Interactive Governance, social well-being, and gender in Sri Lanka.
- Mahfuzar Rahman (PhD candidate, University of Manitoba) is writing his dissertation based on research with dried fish processors in Bangladesh.
- Sami Farook (PhD candidate, University of Manitoba) intends undertake a trend analysis using the 2000-2016 Bangladesh household income and expenditure surveys and will lead the stacked value chain survey for Bangladesh.
