There are four reporting documents that you will need to use during the life of your project. Each of these reports are attached to this email and described below.
Partner Contribution Statement (Word)
Provide this document to each of your partner organizations and to the host institution. They are required to complete the form and submit it to you each year. If they have provided contributions in the year leading up to the project start-date, please have them complete an extra form in the first year. We ask that you keep a record of these statements, but you do not have to submit them to SSHRC.
Annual Contribution Summary (Excel)
This workbook allows you to track contributions over the life of the project. Enter the information from each Partner Contribution Statement in the Excel workbook.
Milestone Report template
The Milestone Report serves as a roadmap for the project so that progress can be assessed at the midterm point (i.e., which activities are on, behind, or ahead of schedule and what is the status of promised deliverables). It should also assist the project team in planning and managing a calendar of research and research-related activities and in determining roles and responsibilities for the first half of the project. This report is due six months from after the award start-date.
Midterm Report template
The Midterm Report provides an overall view of what the partnership has accomplished by the midterm point of the award, and provides sufficient information to allow the Midterm Review Committee to assess the progress of activities undertaken during this time. It is both a description of the activities and accomplishments to date, and a forward-looking document that confirms and updates the plan of activities designed to ensure the achievement of the stated goals and objectives of the partnership.
Achievement Reports
As with all SSHRC grants, a Partnership Achievement Report must be completed at the end of the grant period (preview the questions). Partner organizations can also choose to report to SSHRC on their involvement in a SSHRC-funded project, and its benefits to them, by using the Partner Report (preview the questions). The information provided is submitted directly to SSHRC and will not be shared with the project director or other partners involved in the project.
